Half of my summer vacation is gone! BOO! We had a lot of fun this week. Of course, did I take any photos? Nope. On Saturday we celebrated my sister's and my mom's birthdays. We had a BBQ with friends and family. It was pretty awesome. The one thing I did take photos of was my nephew... so here are a few more pics of the cute little man.

It. Has. Arrived.

For my first project, I decided to make a vinyl sticker for my laptop. (My sister and I have the exact same computer, so I thought an identifying sticker would be nice.)
Things I have learned today:
- This thing is AWE-SOME.
- Make sure the little blue lever is down before trying to cut.
- Did I mention it is awesome?
- Don't try and recut vinyl that you already messed up.
- Hey, I should tell you this thing is awesome.
- Don't make something with super intricate cuts for your first project. Ease into it.
- Oh, yeah. The finished result? Awesome. ♥

My husband decided to make some Mocha Mousse, using our espresso maker and the Joy of Cooking's Chocolate Mousse recipe.

And, while we sadly missed one of Aaron's friends getting married in Iowa (tear, sniff, sniff), we did manage to make it to Monterey to use our Groupon for Sea Kayaking.
