Adventures in Happiness: Smiley, Wavy Guy

One of my favorite parts about driving to school in the morning is seeing Smiley Wavy Guy.  Through all kinds of weather, this cute little old man stands on one of two street corners in Turlock, in his cute plaid shirt. He simply stands on the corner, smiles and waves at all the traffic that passes by. 

For the first few days back to school earlier in the month, I did not see Smiley Wavy Guy. I missed him. 

But for the past two days, my mornings got increasingly better just because I got to see my friend. So, if you ever feel a bit 'bleh', drive by my friend Smiley Wavy Guy. A smile and a wave may be just what you need...
