Photo of the Week: Week 35

This week was a whirlwind of a week.

I started the week by starting my new 6th grade teaching job. On Tuesday, my new students and I began our  new adventure together.  So far so good! :) Honestly, everyone has been very sweet and I really look forward to all the fun we are going to have together.

We also got into a bit of a fender-bender this week. This very sweet man rear-ended us. Both Aaron and I are fine, but I was fairly shaken up seeing as how I saw he was coming. I cannot speak so well for our poor little Prius.

I decided that buying shoes would make me feel better.

I hope you all had an excellent week. :) ♥

Photo of the Week: Week 34

I had a wonderful week of training with my new coworkers. Our days were busy with professional development, and collaboration.

This week was also exciting because I inherited a class pet...

And I got to have lobster for lunch....

Yesterday, I went on an exciting trip to a nearby casino with all of my good-friends from CF. We were so caught up in laughing, catching up, and having fun, we didn't take a photo. I wish we had. It makes me happy to have memories, but I would have loved to have a photo.

But, since I don't have a photo of my best girl-friends, I will post a photo of my super cute nephew. He is so adorable!

Photo of the Week: Week 33

This week, I started at my new job, at my new school, with my new coworkers. It's been pretty awesome! I keep waiting for the ball drop, or the bad news, or something, because it seems far too good to be true.

The only down-side I can see so far is that I desperately miss my friends and co-workers back at CF. Desperately.

I was able to get into my room, and start moving my materials in. I could not have done it without the loving support (and manual labor skills) of my mom and husband. Truly, I am so blessed to be surrounded by such fabulous people.

For this week's photos, I decided to give you an Instagram-ed sneak peek of my classroom.
